Edward Hayduk
April 16, 1931 – March 19, 2018


After a long battle with cancer, Dad peacefully passed away on March 19, 2018 surrounded by his family. He has left to mourn his wife of 59 years, Stephanie and 5 children: Shelley, Patrick, Vickie Baldwin (Gayne), Michael, and Tanis Lewko (William); 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Dad is predeceased by his parents Steve and Mary Hayduk, his brother Peter Hayduk, an infant daughter Colleen Hayduk, and a daughter-in-law Julie Leier.

Dad farmed in the Red Deer Hill area all his life. His passion was grain and cattle. In his retirement years, he enjoyed fishing at Tobin Lake with his sons. The past year Dad’s illness brought him to Stensrud Lodge in Saskatoon where his smile and sense of humour was enjoyed by staff and residents.

We would like to send out a very special Thank You to all the staff at Stensrud Lodge and Dr. Abbas and staff at the Cancer Clinic for all the wonderful care given to Dad. Without them we would not have been blessed with the extra time we were able to spend with him.

At Dad’s request a private service will be held with interment at Memorial Gardens.
