Jean Pearcey
The family of Jean M. (Totten) Pearcey is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing on March 22, 2018, in Northwood – Ivany Place in Bedford where she resided since 2016.
Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Gerald (Joe) in 2002; sisters, Bessie, Dorothy, Mae, Freda, Ruby, Marie and brother, Walter. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Tom) McCarthy and her son, Gerald (Corinne) as well as her brother, Vernon and his wife, Rita, and sister, Germaine McLean and her husband Les. Four grandchildren, Beverly, Cheryl Lynn, Megan & Ashley and four Great-grandchildren.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to the excellent staff at Bluenose Cove at Ivany Place for their wonderful care especially Nadine, Nicole, and Ryan.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home in Halifax. A graveside service will be held at a later date in North Sydney, Cape Breton.
