It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Cecil (Pete) Wagner of Conway, P.E.I. announce his passing, peacefully and surrounded by family, at Community Hospital, O’Leary on Saturday March 24, 2018. Pete was born on October 2, 1931 to the late William (Bill) and Inez (Murphy) Wagner. Loving husband to Lillian (Palmer) Wagner. Dear father to Charles (Cathy), Freeland, Robert, Summerside, Sue (Norman) Gamble, Poplar Grove, and Les of Summerside. Loving grandfather to Robbie Wagner, Halifax, N.S., Laura Gamble (Rodney Gallant), Conway, Tammy (Mike) Kinch, Summerside, Christopher Wagner, Freeland, Lindsay (Jamie) Barlow, Freeland, Crystal Wagner (Leo Lynch), Fortune Cove, Curtis Wagner (Amanda Coyle) Ellerslie, Jesse Wagner, Kingston, Ontario, Devin Wagner (Alysha MacGregor), Charlottetown and Spencer Wagner, Summerside. Great grandfather to 13. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Pete is also survived by brothers and sisters: Audrey (John) Barlow, Sadie Wagner, Jessie (Ken) Boyle, Patsy (Richard) Bulger, Gerald Wagner, Arnold (Judi) Wagner, and by sister-in-law’s Lillian (Foster) Wagner and Joan (Lester) Wagner. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Phyllis, Gertie, Jean, and brothers Lester and Foster. No visitation or services by Pete’s request.
