Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on April 7, 2018, Aunt Dot of Clarenville, aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred Whitfield; son Leslie (Frances); brother William (Martha); sisters Elsie (Donald), Nora (Larry), Effie (William), Ann (Chester); brother-in-law Melvin. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Merlin (Violet), Linda (Monty), Nicholas (Carol-Ann), Cindy (Ray); 11 grandchildren: Tim, Paul, Troy, Stephen, Kevin, Scott, Todd (Tammy), Leeann (Mike), Adrienne (Mike), Grant (Courtney), Spencer (Jessica); six great-grandchildren: Kyle, Brandon (Julia), Glen (Jenna), Gregory (Brittany), Jessicah (Ryan), Aaron (Brittany); two great-great grandchildren: Willow-Grace, Viktor; sister Evelyn; brother Chesley (Phyllis) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Tuesday, April 10, 2018 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment at the Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville. In her memory flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway or Children’s Wish Foundation.
