Passed peacefully away on April 9, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband: Gordon L. Saunders; parents: Peter & Jane Winsor; sons: Graham Charles, Donald Gordon; great-grandchild: Liam Vokey; sisters: May Butler, Pearl Williams, Edith Vallis, Ada Squires, Rose Goddon; brother: Peter Winsor; sister-in-law: Phyllis Hamlyn. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sandra O’Connor, Ruth Vokey (Omer Arsenault), Glenn (Beverly) Saunders, Pamela (Dwayne) Rodgers, Carol (Gerry) Dooley; grand-children: Brent O’Connor, Andrea Forrest, Tony, Todd & Trevor Vokey, Sarah & Michael Saunders, Jessica Rodgers, Brittany Dawson, Jennifer Marshall, Leslie Moore, Kelly Dooley; great-grandchildren: Taylor & Ainsley Forrest, Timothy O’Connor, John, Madeline, Kaylie, Lilly, Hannah & Joy Vokey, Elliot Marshall. As well as a large circle of friends and family of nieces & nephews who adored their Aunt Frances. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 7-9 pm and Thursday, April 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from St. Mary’s the Virgin Anglican Church, with interment to follow at Kenmount Anglican Cemetery.
