The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Sunday, April 8, 2018 of Andrew Arnold Wood, of Howlan, aged 87, beloved husband of Marjorie Wood (nee MacKay). Andrew was born in Howlan on January 21, 1931, son of the late Arnold & Edna (Clark) Wood. Dear father to Bertha (Allan) Caseley, Brae; James "Jimmy" (Tracey) Wood, Alberton; Angila Wood, O’Leary; John (JoAnne) Wood, Howlan; Frank (Judy) Wood, Howlan; Dana (Danita) Wood, Calgary; Darrel Wood, O’Leary; Dennis (Della) Rix, Miminegash, Timmy (Cindy) Rix, St. Lawrence; Stacey (Tammy) Rix, Howlan and Edward (Sierra) Rix, Philadelphia. Loving Grampy to 27 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Andrew is also survived by his sister Ruth MacNeill, West Cape; sisters in law Helen Wood, West Cape and Frances Lockhart, Summerside. Andrew was predeceased by his parents, 1st wife Olga, 2nd wife Jessie, son William in infancy and brothers and sisters Colston, Lilly, George, Ruby and Ernie. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Woodstock on Thursday at 3 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
