YATES, Alma Jean – December 1, 1930 – April 21, 2018, Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at VON Sakura House on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Alma Jean Yates (nee Pitcher) of Woodstock and formerly of Trinity Bay, NFLD, in her 88th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, are her devoted husband of 64 years, Leigh, daughter Karen (Keith) and son Ken (Kathy). Loving Nan to Kirk (Emily), Kaeleigh and Kristopher (Diane). Dear sister of Mildred Cooper (late Gordon), Ruby Hopkins (Charles), Bramwell (Margaret), Wayne (Christine); sisters-in-law Gladys Pitcher and Myrtis Pitcher, brothers-in-law Bruce (Joan) and Keith (Phyllis). Also survived by a large number of nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents, William and Selina, daughter Lori, brothers Norman and Donald, sister-in-law Fern, mother-in-law Ethel and father-in-law George. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at St. David’s United Church, Woodstock at a later date.
