RYAN, SISTER MARY PHYLLIS

Sister Mary Phyllis Ryan (Sister Rose Marie) passed away peacefully in Saskatoon on January 22nd, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Mary was born and raised on a farm near Manville Alberta. In 1945 she joined the Congregation of the Daughters of Providence (Les Filles de la Providence) in Prud’homme, SK. She leaves to mourn her religious community, three sisters, Julia Berg, Betty Morak and Marlene Tucker; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her wit, great creativity and fertile imagination. She will be greatly missed by her community, family and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sts Donatien and Rogatien Parish Church in Prud’homme, SK.
