Born January 27, 1937. Passed peacefully away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:42 at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Predeceased by wife Millicent; parents; special mother-in-law Marie Porter (Allan); seven brothers and three sisters. Leaving to mourn sons Dave (Lynn), Eddy (Amanda); daughter Lily (Patty); grandchildren Raymond (Alicia), Tanya (Jay), Hope (Jordan), Jessica, Poppy’s little buddy Brady; great-grandchildren Jonathan, Taylor; and sister Lucy, and many other relatives and friends. He will always be remembered as Jim or Poppy. He never lacked a sense of humor, regardless of the situation. He was someone you wanted by your side, someone who would always make you laugh. A Service will be held at St. Cyprians St. Mary’s Church, Bell Island, on Saturday, May 12 at 2 pm. Reception to follow in the church hall.
