It is with saddened hearts we regret to announce the passing of John Flynn Jr. at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 2:35 a.m. at the age of 76 years. Survived by his wife Florence (Nee Jesso), daughters Florence (Harvey Day), Jackie (Morgan Simmons), son Sean (Karen). Also leaving to mourn his grandsons Brandon Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Michael Day and Ethan Flynn, his brothers Hillary, Greg, Christopher, sisters Esther, Veronica, Linda, Shirley and a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville on Wednesday, May 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.The funeral service will take place from Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port on Thursday May 31 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Autism Society, the Janeway or the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation in John’s memory.
