It is with heavy hearts that the families of Adelaide Lavina Colbourne announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Edith (Terry) Osmond, Loretta (Boyd) Osmond, Violet (Cyril) Lawlor, Aubrey (Bernetta) Colbourne, Raymond (Karen) Colbourne, Dinah Colbourne (Rick) and Kimberly Paziuk (Herubey), her grandchildren Michael, Michelle, Lauralee, Victoria, Jarad, Julia, Shawn, Julia, Joslyn, Jabez, Karen, Krista, Reid, Clarke, Karalee, Logan, Miranda and Jake, her 21 great-grandchildren, her siblings Leander (Effie) Parsons, Florence Parsons, Winnie (Wallace) Harris and Bruce (Nora) Parsons, her sister-in-laws Verna Parsons and Blanche Parsons, mother was predeceased by her husband George, her parents Phoebe and Charlie Parsons, her siblings Leslie Parsons, Stanley (Rhuda) Parsons, Cyril Parsons, Wilfred (Leona) Parsons, Margaret (Arch) Rice and Alfred (Gladys) Parsons, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families, and a large number of special friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at the Anglican Church in Hampden, NL, on Friday, June 1st, 2018 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at 2 pm, with Minister Leader Mrs. Sandra Pinksen officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden, NL.
