Fred Toombs
1928 – 2018
After a long and debilitating illness and other complications, Fred died peacefully May 28th at the Wales Home in Cleveland, Qc. Survived by his wife Berny Benoit, Dalphy Toombs wife of his dear late brother Hillard and their children Shane, Peter, Pam and their partners. Two great nieces Katelin, Jessica and great nephews Gavin and Joshua, along with other relatives and friends all of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Also surviving sisters-in law Antoinette Adamson (late Eddy) Beatrice Long (late George) nephew Shawn E. Long, nieces Colleen Long (Gilbert Verhoef), Terry-Ann Long (Christian Lussier) and five great nephews Patrick, Lee Verhoef, Ryan, Kelsey, Jason Lussier and one great great nephew Tyler Lussier. Also Lyse and Marc Courtemanche. Fred will be remembered by friends in CAN/USA especially Derby Vt. all followers of Dr. Bob and Bill W. Anyone wishing to honor his memory please do so by contributing to Animal Welfare/Shelters in any town/city and to the Wales Home Foundation would be appreciated. Golfing friends will remember is enthusiasm and knowledge of the game that he played so well for many years. If you love golf and country music Freddie was your man. Rest in Peace.
