It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Glenda Boutilier on June 4, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Fabian and Florence (Wilson) Boutilier.
She had a love for music and listening to her favorite Patsy Cline, she enjoyed cooking, going to Bingo, dancing and singing. She enjoyed make a variety of crafts, she could create anything. She loved her cats.
Glenda is survived by her two loving daughters, Tanya Boutilier (Chris McDonald) and Amanda Boutilier; her precious grandchildren, Brooklyn, Carsyn, Jordyn and Oakley. She is also survived by her siblings, Kay, Elaine (Allan), Cheryl, Dolena, Regie, Jackie and Leslie (Blair), John (Betty), Billy and Steve; her very special friend, Mike MacKay; several nieces and nephews; as well as many dear close friends, Dave Andrews, Don Don, Gary, Ann Marie, Joanie, Brian, Maria and Billy who will miss her dearly.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gordie Wilson and Kenny Boutilier.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS 902-849-4199. Burial to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
