Passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2018, Helena Mary-Clare (Bouzane) McDonald, aged 92. She was predeceased by her husband, Brendan McDonald; infant daughter Patricia; infant son, Leo Paul; and parents Bernard and Catherine Bouzane; sisters Theresa Cooke, Anna Manship and Florence Petro. Leaving to mourn her children, Mary, Thomas (Donna) and Regina (John); grandchildren Jonathan (Tamara), Renee (Armel) and Leanne; great-grandchildren Jordan and Trinity, Emily and Sarah, Mathew and Mark, sisters Margaret Penton and Lillian Bouzane; brother James (Geraldine) Bouzane; also her many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangement were under the direction of Hoskins Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Bishop's Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 with Father Eugene Morris officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Helen Bruce, Helena's doctor, for her many years of care and the nurses of 2A wing of the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center for their compassion during her most recent stay. Your professionalism and dedication to your duties will be long remembered by Helena's family.
