Dean, Burton Frederick “Burt”- With deep sadness we share the passing of Burton "Burt" Frederick Dean, 72 of Stellarton NS, on June 15 2018 at the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow
Burt was predeceased by his Father William "Burton" Dean and his Mother Mildred (Trefry) Dean.
Left to Mourn his passing are his sister, Faye Dean MacInnis and brother Donald Dean; sons: Derek, James, Ryan and Michael grandchildren: Christopher, David and Emily, several nieces and nephews.
Burt was born at the Aberdeen Hospital May 27, 1946.
He was well respected and worked at Sales throughout his lifetime, most recently retiring from Pepsi Co. Burt had a love of Hockey, coaching numerous teams over his years in Stellarton. He was involved in his early years in Boy Scouts and Army Cadets and many community events. He was a pillar of the town he loved.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be 6-9pm Tuesday June 19, service to follow on Wednesday June 20 at 11am both at the H.C MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton with Rev. Darlene Jewers presiding.
Burial to follow at the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
