Fanny Farrell
January 14th, 1937 - June 19th, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Fanny Farrell (nee Lillington) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Fanny was the daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Lillington. She was predeceased by her husband Keltie Farrell; son Nelson Farrell; daughter Evelyn Farrell; baby girl Farrell; grandson Christopher Farrell; sisters Margaret Petrovich, Helen Newhook, Sarah Lillington, Mary Lillington, Mildred Lillington, Florence (Gord) McNeil, Winnetta (John) Lilly; brother John (Alma) Lillington; mother and father-in-law Albert and Violet Farrell; sisters-in-law Zenith Sheaves; brothers-in-law George (Nina) Farrell and Howard Shears. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Ellen (Claude) Farrell of Margaree, NL, Brian (Holly) Farrell of Port aux Basques, NL, Carolyn (Lloyd) Piercey of Marystown, NL, Debbie (Robert) Dicks of Port aux Basques, NL, Keltie (Marlene) Farrell of Nova Scotia, Jack (Thelma) Farrell of Isle aux Morts, NL, Lori-Ann (Austin) Leamon of Airdrie, AB; fifteen (15) grandchildren; fifteen (15) great-grandchildren; brother Morgan (Harriett) Lillington; brother-in-law Max (Mary) Farrell both of Port aux Basques, NL; sisters-in-law Nora (Reg) Cantwell of Corner Brook, NL, Helen Shears of St. John's, NL plus her home care workers Sonya Munden and Marlene Kendall. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. continued on Thursday, June 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., (downtown location) in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service was held on Friday, June 22nd at 2 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey with interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Fanny's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
