It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the passing of William Eldon King on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the Glace Bay Hospital with loving family at his side.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Eldon and Jennifer (Worth) King.
Willie was a Truck Driver in Ontario until he returned home and began Fishing. Willie enjoyed spending his pass time out in the garage with the “boys” and also going to Tim Hortons for a coffee and going for a drive with Theresa.
Willie is survived by sons, John, Bill (Leonne), Joe, Claude (Leanne), Kevin and George (Samantha); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean and Gloria and brother, Fred.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by wife, Theresa Marie (Rose) King and sisters, Doris, Dolly, Helen and Shirley.
Visitation for Willie will be held on Sunday June 24,2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Funeral service will be held on Monday June 25 at 11 a.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald MacDonald officiating burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
