Passed into eternal rest at Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John, NB, Charlene Verna Reid (nee Ash). Predeceased by father Charles, mother Norrie Sheppard, step-father Venerable Ralph Sheppard, sister-in-law Clarice Read, aunt Olive (Wilfred) Boone, uncle Harold (Elsie) March, nephew Orville Elliott and niece Audrey March. Leaving behind with loving memories her husband of 51 years, Dr. Philip Reid, son Philip, sisters-in-law Doreen (Howard) Parsons and Leona Read and niece Ray (Mahmood) Naqvi, also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from the Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
