Passed away on June 29, 2018, Gerald Stewart Farthing, at the age of 80 years. He retired from Sea Captain/Master Mariner. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Olive Farthing; sons Norman and Raymond Farthing. Left to mourn are his friend Myra King; son Brian (Cathie) Farthing; daughters Paula (Derrick) Sampson, Kathy Farthing. Also his six grandchildren: Skylar, Kai, Ethan, Robert, Keisha, Lauren, and one great-granddaughter Ava; sister Joyce Gidge and brother Cecil Farthing and a circle of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be conducted at the United Church Cemetery, Northern Arm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:30. Arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor.
