Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday July 4,2018, Elsie Monk of Clarenville formerly of Monkstown, aged 81 yrs. Predeceased by husband Arch, son Randy, daughters Ruby & Janet, parents Eva & George Monk, parents-in-law Charlie & Susan Monk. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Tony (Denise), Jerry (Lori) and Jason (Clara); daughters Lorraine (Tom) and Marion (Howie); grandchildren Brent, Cody, Fallon, Joshua, Lukas and Shauna, great grandchildren Benjamin, Michelle and Liam; sisters Alvina (Charlie) Easton, Kay (Bill) Monk, Myrtle (Ted) Snook; brother Joe (Edwina) Monk and Kirby (Susan) Butler. Visitation took place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor where she resided for the past 3 years and received the best care and attention during her stay and the loving care they gave to us the family.
