Passed peacefully at his residence in St. Philips at the age of 84. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Maude (Sharpe), wife Flora (Porter), son Terry, daughter Joyce Kirby, brothers Peter, James, and Leander, sister Violet King. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories children Lynn, Peter (Betty), Jane (Gord Vincent), Avalon Jr., son-in-law Harry Kirby, grandchildren Gerard, Sarah and Jeffrey, Ashley, Johnathan and Mark, Thomas and Jake, Stephen and Jennifer, great-grandchildren Blake, Peter, Logan, Liam and Mila, and sister Nina Martin, and many family and friends.
