It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of our loving mother, Isabelle MacIsaac on July 9, 2018 in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with her family by her side.
Born February 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Carmella (Fortune) Cadden.
Isabelle was devoted to her home and children and once the grandchildren arrived, they were her whole life. She enjoyed reading and was a member of the New Waterford Pensioners Club.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy (Maureen), New Waterford, Kenny (Lisa), Halifax and Stephen (Crystal), Calgary; daughters, Willena (Lorne) MacDonald, New Waterford and Donna McDaniel, Margaree; grandchildren, Garett(Cathy), Lesley (Johnson), Bianca (Mitch), Jamie, Gregory, Justin, Miranda (Tristan), Claudia, Madison, Steve, Savanah; great-grandchildren, Roisin, Jack, Isaac and Millie; and many nieces and nephews and special friend, Dawn.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Jimmy; sister, Eileen (Cadden) Odo, and son-in-law, Frankie McDaniel.
Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held Friday, July 13th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Internment in Union Grove Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the parish hall, Convent St. and all are welcome.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
