Her death occurred at Andrews Park West Lodge on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 of Marjorie Louise (McCracken) Trewin. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Trewin. Born March 15, 1919 in Hoyt, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of the late William and Dora (Knorr) McCracken and sister to the late Perley (Ruth Ash) McCracken. Over the span of many years both the McCracken and Trewin families from coast to coast were always welcomed with open arms to 19 Hawthorne Ave. where delicious homemade meals were always part of the gathering, followed by visits to special places on Anne Shirley’s Island. Survived by nephews Paul (Wendy) McCracken, Maurice (Brynn) McCracken, brother-in-law Robert Trewin, sisters-in-law Marjorie (Art) Parker and Florence (Ed) Kodis, and many treasured nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews whose visits were always welcomed, and their time and affection greatly appreciated. Also survived by a valued and special friend, Mary Scott, who showed great kindness and who helped in so many ways. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Doug (Betty) Trewin, Henry (Evelyn) Trewin and Raymond Trewin, sisters-in-law Daisy (Harry) Payne, Dorothy (Stanley) Thompson and Vicky Trewin, and very special niece Linda (Trewin) Nugent. Marjorie has enriched so many lives from the countless times she gave so selflessly from the heart. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Marjorie, as well as her friends and family, greatly appreciated the excellent care she received at Park West Lodge where both management and staff, were like another family to her.
