The death occurred at the Moncton General Hospital, on Friday, July 27, 2018, of Nathan MacKay, loving husband of Vickie (Gallant) MacKay, of New Glasgow, age 37. Nathan was the loving and devoted father of Nolan, Duncan and Lydia. He is also survived by his parents, Bruce and Debbie (Rackham) MacKay; his sister, Krista MacKay; his grandfathers, Robert Rackham and Duncan (Olga) MacKay; his mother and father-in-law, Errol and Rose Gallant; brothers-in-law, Colin (Andrea) Gallant and Richie (Lisa) Gallant; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nathan is predeceased by his grandmothers, Edith Rackham and Audrey MacKay. Resting at Central Queens Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 31, at the New Glasgow Hills Golf Course from 4-7 p.m. A short remembrance ceremony will be held at 4 p.m., with light refreshments and mingling to follow.
