Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on July 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Although saddened we are grateful to have had him in our lives for so many years, filled with a lifetime of memories and love. Predeceased by sons: Gary and Francis (Frankie) son-in-law Brendan O'Neill. His parents Ronald and Elizabeth, brothers: Ronald, Cyril, William, Michael, Stan, Lawrence, Vincent, Randal, sisters: Hilda, Rita, twin sister Sally. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Ethel, his children: Tony Hayden (Sandy), Jackie Kane (Paul), CarolAnn Ryan (Bob), Sharon Clowe (Colin), Joanne O'Neill, Yolanda Sheehan (Noel), step-son Noel Finn (Terry). Loving and lifelong friends, his brother Harold Hayden and sister Joan O'Brien. Grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Alex Hayden, Joey Finn, Shane and Krystle Hayden, Nicole, Tommy, Melissa Kane, Christopher Hayden (Lesleh), Megan Oates (Ryan), Natasha and CJ Clowe, Nathan and Nadine O'Neill, Hayden Sheehan. Great-grandchildren Tristan, Carson and Jackson Hickey, Alexis and Olivia Kane, Peyton and Penelope Kane, also many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends and (foe). He will be remembered for his love of life and cards, his dedicated work ethic, commitment to family, community and friends. We would like to thank the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care and compassion over the past month. A special thank you to Dr. Melissa Walsh. We would also like to acknowledge Dr. Susan Grandy and Dr. Burgstrum for their support with dad’s fight against cancer. We will be forever grateful. Visitation at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, July 30th and Tuesday, July 31st from 2 -9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle. Flowers greatly accepted or donations in Frank’s memory can be made to the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
