Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, July 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer, Mr. Colin P. Kent of Bay Roberts, aged 58 years. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bride (nee King) Kent, brothers: Kevin and Blair, brother-in-law Edward Whalen, parents-in-law Edward and Kathleen Morrissey. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife Clare (nee Morrissey); sons: Edward (Emily), Jeff (Samantha); grandchildren: Benjiman and Zackury; brothers: John (Rose), Keith (Christine), Gary (Geraldine); sisters: Barb Whalen, Sue (Chuck) Connor, Bev Kent; sister-in-law Caroline Kent; in-laws: Lucille (Jerome) Winter, Rosemary (Wade) Locke; special cousins: Walt King, Lillian Cruickshank and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach with visitation on Monday: 2 – 5 PM; 7 – 9 PM: Tuesday: 10 – 12 Noon; 2 – 5 PM; 7 – 9 PM. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM from All Hallows R.C. Church, North River.
