On Sunday August 12, 2018, Ken left this earth to join the love of his life, for the next stage of life’s journey. Ken was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1928. He married Joy Louise Gunn in 1954, and together they raised 3 children, Doug (Sue); Bill (Angie) and Sue (Tim). They were blessed with 6 grandchildren, Melanie, Christine, Kiera, Colin, Alex and John. Ken loved nothing better than to be around his family. He was a loyal and active church member, hosted prayer groups, and volunteered with “Help the Aged” programs. He enjoyed a life-long career as a Chartered Accountant. Ken and Joy loved to travel and together they explored places in Europe and northern Africa. When winter set in, they headed south to enjoy a whole other group of friends. A service celebrating Ken’s life will be held on Friday August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Julian of Norwich Anglican Church, 8 Withrow Ave, Nepean. Family visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Prostate Cancer Canada or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
