We regret to announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Ferneyhough, age 67, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at home.
Evelyn was the daughter of Marjorie (Colburn) Brown and the late David Brown. She worked for over 20 years as a baker at Cedar House.
Evelyn is survived by her mother, Marjorie; her sister-in-law, Sylvia Simm (Eric) who she raised and was like a daughter to her; sister-in-law, Karen Gracie (Daryl); brother-in-law, Edward (Red) Fraser; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter, Leanne; her son, Darryl; and her sister, Sharon Fraser.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will take place Monday, August 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Carman United Church, Sydney Mines, with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
