The death occurred, suddenly, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on August 20, 2018 of Preston William Jackson, formerly of Peters Road. Age 90. Lovingly remembered by children Valerie (Frank McGee), St Mary’s Road, Wilma (Wayne Dunning), Oshawa, Hazel (Robert Fraser), Calgary and Floyd (Heather), Charlottetown; grandchildren Michael (Rebecca) McGee, Carolyn Scissons, Angela McGee, Paul McGee and Gregory Fraser (Kyungjin Kim); great-grandchildren Alice, Sophie and Lydia. Survived by sister-in-law Marie Jackson. Predeceased by parents Otis and Grace (Beck) Jackson; wife Shirley; siblings Murray, Hazel (Neil) Hooley, Marion (John) Dean and Lillian MacDonald. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Thursday, August 30 from 5-8 pm. Funeral service from the Church of Christ, Montague on Friday, August 31 at 11 a.m. Interment in Murray River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Preston’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kings County Memorial Hospital.
