It’s with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of James Garfield Knox at home on Saturday, August 18,2018.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Clifford and Annie Knox.
Jimmy was employed with Marg’s taxi until his battle with cancer. Everyone who knew him will miss his great since of humor.
Surviving are his loving wife, Thelma; daughter, Theresa (Billy Joe); sons, Clifford (Alicia), Carl, Albert; grandchildren, Cloey, Seth, Greyson, Hope, Faith, Sabbastian, Rebbecca, Chase (Alexis) and Abigail; sibling Norman, Harold, Janet, Heather, John, Margie, Glen, Linda, Janetta, Gloria, Jessie, Wallace and Alfie. He will be very sadly missed by his dog, Curly Sue.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Billy.
Visitation for Jimmy will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
