It’s with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Margaret “Peggy” Anderson age 63 at the Lloydminster Hospital in Lloydminster, SK on Aug 16, 2018.
Born in North Sydney on March 30, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Vickers and granddaughter of Isabel Strickland.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband, Martin “Marty” Anderson; her fiancé, Martin Fry, and loving aunt, Lilian Boyce.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Mark Baranek); her grandchildren, Billie and Blake; brother, Terry Vickers (Maria); sister, Joan Evans and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy fought an unbelievable battle with cancer and was convinced that the care she received from her friend, Gerard MacDonald who she loved dearly, as well as her daughter, Amanda, is what kept her strong. Peggy said that her final days spent with her grandchildren was the best medicine she could have received!
A funeral service was held for Peggy on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Lloydminster, AB at Creech’s Funeral Chapel.
