The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 of Ronald Charles MacArthur of Tyne Valley aged 75, beloved husband of Shirley (nee Milligan). Ron was born on December 4, 1942, son of the late Horace and Wilna (Millar) MacArthur. Cherished father to Kristina (Shawn) Ellis, Northam; Rodney (Kim), Summerside; Joanie (Paul) Brennan, Charlottetown and Rhonda (Todd) Arsenault, Northam. Loving grandfather to Logan, Madison, Nick, Chloe, Brooke, Brodie, Colby, Halle, Darcie, Landon, Charli, Suri, Ty and Benson. Brother to Priscilla (Ira) Strongman, Summerside. Brother in law to Jean MacArthur, Summerside; Donald (Judy) Milligan, Tyne Valley; Keith (Debbie) Milligan, Tyne Valley; John Milligan, Summerside; Gladys Hayman (Joe Landrigan), Kensington; Tommy (Lisa) Milligan, Kitchener and Darlene Shaw (Lawrence MacIntyre), Cardigan. Ron was predeceased by his parents, brother Eldon, sister Joan and brother Clifford, father and mother in law Charlie (Reby) Milligan. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
