The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at Clinton View Lodge on Friday, August 31st, 2018 of Cedric J. Gallant at the age of 82 years from Mont Carmel. Born in Mont Carmel, he was the son of the late Magloire and Eugénie (nee Hashie) Gallant. Cedric was a devoted husband to Aldine (nee Richard) and loving father to Michel (Julie), Monique (Michel) and Muriel (Jimmy) Williams and grandfather to Jamie Williams, Danielle Gallant and Tyler Williams. He will be forever remembered by brothers Fred and Clarence. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Wednesday, September 5th then to the Notre-Dame-du-Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Cedric’s memory to the Mont Carmel Church would be greatly appreciated.
