Passed peacefully in the presence of his family on Friday, September 28th at the L.A Miller Centre. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth (Johnson) and William Clements, brothers Gerald and Raymond, brother-in-law Cliff Lahey and father-in-law Mr. Gerald Slade. Remembered with fond and loving memories by his wife Geraldine, son Gerald (Lori), grandchildren Cael and Luke, son Timothy and mother-in-law Ruth Slade. Also leaving behind sisters Catherine Lahey, Evelyn Clements, Rita Fagan (Roy), sisters-in-law Judy Gerber (Bruce) and Jeannie Clements, brothers-in-law Boyd Slade (Elizabeth) and Lester Slade, along with many aunts, uncles. cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Pardy and her team, the nursing staff on 4 North and the Ambulatory Treatment Department at the Health Science Centre. We would also like to thank the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre for your care and professionalism. Cremation has taken place and a church service will be held at St. Cyprians, St. Mary's Church, Bell Island on Tuesday, October 2nd at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Daffodil Place in St. John's or the family also encourages you to give the gift of life, by donating to Canadian Blood Services.
