Mr. Don R. Drover of Upper Island Cove passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 1, 2018. Mr. Drover was 68 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife: Lorraine; children: Donald (Sonya), Brian (Courtney) & Matthew (Kimberley); grandchildren: Mackenzie, Logan, Alex & Lucas; brothers: Gordon (Paulette) & Cliff (Pam); sisters: Gladys (George), Mabel (Bill) & Mary (Doug); brother-in-law: Charles; sisters-in-law: Faye, Lorraine, Evelyn (Robert), Sandra & Gloria; and a number of family & friends. Predeceased by parents: Archibald & Mary Drover; brothers: Gordon & Paul; brothers-in-law: Gordon & Joey; sisters-in-law: Isabel (Harvey), Susie (Jack) & Dorothy; nephew: Dougie; niece: Donna; parents-in-law: Duncan & Ethel Coombs. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove Tuesday: 11:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Wednesday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., and Thursday: 10:30 A.M.-1:15 P.M.
