The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, of Earl Gallant, of Summerside, aged 67 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Henry and Naveta (Chappell) Gallant. Survived by his wife Deborah Taylor-Gallant; children Deanna Gallant (Mark Cardwell), Earl (Patti) Gallant and Karrie (Jeremy) Costain; grandchildren Hayden and Marky Cardwell; Samantha and Taylor Gallant; Lilly and Koen Costain; sister Monica Donavan (James Schurman); mother-in-law Maureen Taylor and by a brother-in-law Mark Taylor. Predeceased by his infant son Jason Gallant; a brother Wayne Gallant and by his father-in-law Donald Taylor. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Hospice PEI would be appreciated.
