MUISE, Jane Rose - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Jane Rose Muise (née d’Entremont) with her son Brian by her side on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Tidal View Manor–The Meadows. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Delmer of 70 years on October 11, 2012. Mother was a faith filled woman and a lifelong member of the Catholic Women’s League. Our Mother, the matriarch of our family, was born in Lower West Pubnico on October 12, 1923. She was predeceased by her parents, Jeanne Françoise d’Entremont and Eloi Augustin d’Entremont (Chickie) and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her siblings, Bridget Surette, Regina d’Entremont, Frederick d’Entremont, Laura Irene d’Entremont, Madeleine Brown, Marie Williams, Eleanor d’Entremont and Benedict d’Entremont. Mother was truly loved and will be forever missed by her children; Elaine Snow (Alfred), Bruce (Janice), Maxine Fournier (Raymond), Michael (Candace), Jean Zaychuk (Alexander) and Brian (Sheila); 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; two step grandchildren, five great step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation took place at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8:00. There was a Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Henry Smolenaars held on Monday, October 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral, 43 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, 134 Forest Street. Following interment, family and friends were invited to a reception in the Jubilee Room. Our family wishes to express our deep gratitude to Dr. Horton, the wonderful nurses, continuing care assistants and volunteers at Tidal View Manor–The Meadows for their exceptional level of care, kindness, compassion and respect given to our Mother. In our Mother’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.

We will always love you and will hold you in our hearts forever.
