Edith Margaret Blakeney:

Edith Margaret Blakeney (nee Stallard), longtime resident of Stellarton, NS passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, NS.
Born in Hamilton,ON on December 8,1926, Edith came to Nova Scotia as a toddler. She was a resident of Stellarton from 1960 to 2017. Recently, she has been residing in Glen Haven Manor.

She was predeceased by her husband Lyall Higgins Blakeney, father William Arthur Stallard, mother Margaret Nicol Adams, step-mother Mary Louise Price and brother William Andrew Stallard.

She is survived by her son Richard Sherman Blakeney, grandson Nicholas Alexander Blakeney(Keri),great-grandsons Jakzen Richard Ozzie Blakeney and Maguire Leonard Alexander Blakeney (all of Calgary).

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a future date.
