It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Gwen Turner at home on October 28, 2018. Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late D.J and Ruth MacDonald.
Gwen is survived by husband, Lester; sister, Marilyn Bajur; brothers, Fred (Pat), Donald (Hazel) and Ian, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Valda and Athalie, and brothers Edwin, David, Roger, Lorne and Gary.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home Glace Bay. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
