Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital Clarenville on Wednesday May 25, 2011 Edward Patrick O’ Neill of Sweet Bay in his 90th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving wife of 64 years Sadie; sons: John and wife Sharon, Brendan all of Sweet Bay, daughters: Madonna Witzell and husband Ron of Kitchener, Ont. Ann O’ Neill of Mississauga, Ont. Florence Keough and husband Ron of Plate Cove West, Irene Chaffey and husband Bill of Musgravetown, Rosemary McGettigan and husband Hugh of Harbour Main, Jane Barker and husband Jim of Charleston, Madeline O’ Neill, Sharon Furlong and husband June both of Scarborough Ont. 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters: Mary Ellen Maloney of Sweet Bay, Ann Murphy of Ont. Brother Fredrick O’ Neill of Random Island plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by son Gerald. Funeral Mass was officiated by Father David Joy from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church on Saturday May 28, 2011 with interment following at RC Cemetery Sweet Bay.
