It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve Murphy announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Walter Murphy; her brother: Randy McCarthy (Jean) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Alexander “Sandy” Murphy, her parents: James and Maude McCarthy; her fury companion: Chico. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 from County Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm with Rev. Rosemary Colbourne officiating. Interment will follow from the Anglican Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
