Janet Marie “Jan” McNevin, 57, of New Glasgow, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her family by her side.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Jeanne McNevin.

Jan was a waitress until her illness. Although ill for several years, Jan faced her challenges with grace and bravery. She accepted her illness with dignity and was always concerned more about her family.

She will be dearly missed by her son Mathieu LeBlanc (Ashley); grandchildren, Brayden, Jacob, Chloe, and London; her partner Stephen Bowles; chosen daughter Chanda LeBlanc; step children Troy, Tyler-John and Trevor Bowles; step grand children Summer, Skylar, Liam, Chloe and Hayley; sisters and brothers, John McNevin, Keenan McNevin, Chris McNevin, Sally McNevin, Gail McNevin, Norah Folks (Carter), and Lynn Cormier (Romeo).

She was predeceased by brothers Brady McNevin and Bernard McNevin, and sister Jocelyn Clements (John).

There will be no visitations. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Moncton at a later date. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
