It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald “Archie” Sheppard announce his peaceful passing at his private residence on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn his partner of 29 years Bertha Sacrey, sons: Jarrod, Stephen (Rowena), Rockey (Karen); daughters: Deanna (Desmond), Myrtle (Lester), Cindy (Dean), Wanda-Lee (Mike); Brother: Alan; sisters: Sarah, Marie (Chester); brothers-in-law: Jim (Debbie), Mark (Kathleen), Arch (Lillian), Wilfred (Rhonda), Barry (Chrissy), Vince (Laura); sisters-in-law: Leona (Ron), Doris (Lloyd), Maxine (Pearce), Genova (Don), Louise (Terry), Mary Ann (Roy), Phyllis, Barb; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Archie was predeceased by his mother and father: Rosanna & Ulric Sheppard; mother and father-in-law: Amelia & George Childs; brothers: William Sheppard and Charlie Sheppard; daughter-in-law: Tracey Sheppard; brother-in-law: Gordon Kendall. A visitation for family and friends will take place from St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from the hours of 7pm – 9pm from where the funeral will take place on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2pm with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to follow at the St. James Anglican Church Cemetery in Lark Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the St. James Anglican Church Fund.
