Velma Cameron (Hill), of Sydney, NS, passed away peacefully in her daughters arms on November 8, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, almost 34 years to the day of her loving husband, Edgar Cameron. She was born December 16, 1937 in Pt. Edward and was the daughter of the late Pauline Hill

She will always be remembered for her delicious baking, playing many games of cards with family and friends, her love of reading and always having supper and a cup of tea on the table for anyone that stopped by for a visit. Everyone that knew her loved hearing her many stories about the old days, and she told them with great detail, she was a wealth of information, and everyone loved to listen.
