It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Douglas Kevin King announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 58 years, Ivy; his sons: Glen (Donna), Wade (Bonnie), and Dean (Anna); his daughters: Donna (Wayne), Patsy (Joe); his grandchildren: Vicki (Stephan), Alicia (Bernard), Ashley (Ryan), Jessica (Shawn), Jennifer, Robyn (Jonathan), Ryan (Emily), Angie (Brian), Douglas (Cassandra); his great-grandchildren: Emily, William, Benjamin, Sophie, Finn, Charlotte, Aiden, Ryder; his brothers: Rex (Jose), Clyde (Shirley). Douglas was predeceased by his precious grandson, Joshua; his parents: John & Julia King; and brothers: Aubrey and George. Cremation has taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday, November 15, 2018 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2pm from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Calvin Andrews officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
