Gordon J. MacIsaac, 85, of New Waterford, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at New Waterford Hospital.
Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late John Francis and Isabel (MacLean) MacIsaac.
Gordon left school at the young age of 16 to work in the coal mines. He worked for many years in No.'s 16, 12 and Lingan Collieries until his retirement.
Surviving are his sister, Pauline Pineo, Tantallon; brothers, John (Betty), Valcaron, ON, Ray (Becky), Amherst, NS; special friend, Jim McPhee.
Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Reid).
As per Gordon's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford.
A burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Bridgeport.
