Passed peacefully away on November 21, 2018, Adrian Joseph Greene, of Freshwater, Placentia Bay, age 81. Born in Point Verde, Placentia Bay on September 8, 1937. Predeceased by his parents Archibald and Mabel Greene, his brother Arch Greene, and special niece Christine Greene. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his partner Imelda Hickey and her family; his daughter Cindy (John Burt) and sons Randy (Daina) and Steve; their mother Monica Roberts (Neil); his grandchildren Ryan (Jessica), Alexa (Ruarai), Meagan (Brian) and Nicholas; his great-grandchildren Cillian and Noah; his brother Ray (Doris) and sisters Christine Demarbre (Mike) and Bernadette McGrath; sister-in-law Mary Greene-Lake (Henry); along with many nieces and nephews. Many loving and special memories with all members of the Hickey family, his best buddy Terry, Kenny, Glen, Amanda, Diane, Brian, Leo and Keith and their families. Special thanks to staff of ICU Unit, Carbonear General Hospital. A special and warm thank you to the staff at Placentia Hospital and Lions Manor Nursing Home. Your kindness and support was truly appreciated by the Greene and Hickey families. Adrian, Dad, Barber Greene will be greatly missed but not forgotten. His joy was running his barber shop for 55 years, and along the way, made many good friends and great memories. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place Saturday from 2pm to 4pm, and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10:30am on Monday, November 26th at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia.
