Passed peacefully away on December 19, 2018 in the presence of his family, William Francis Fleet, age 88 years. Bill was a sheet metal worker, retired Newfoundland Dockyard employee, as well as a long-standing member of The Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by his first wife Helen; and wife Marjorie. Leaving to mourn his step-children Terry Paddon (Cecilia), Ann Parks (Lloyd), and Ruth Meaney (Frank), grandchildren Robert Paddon (Kim), Emily Paddon (Brandon), Adam Meaney (Jess), and Victoria Voll (Jonathon); great-grandchildren Roslyn and Calligan Meaney; as well as other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on January 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on January 4 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
