Passed away at home on Friday, December 21, 2018. Florence Whitten, age 81 years was predeceased by her husband Ernest Joseph Whitten; parents Fred and Florence Legrow, sister Joan and brothers Walter, William and Ronnie. Left behind with fond and loving memories are her children Liz (Doug), Diane (Wayne), Florence and Paul; grandchildren Douglas (Amanda), Jeff, Alicia, Megan (John), Jennifer, Jessica and Justin; two great-granddaughters Emily and Anna; sisters Bride and Hilda; sisters-in-law Shirley and Sarah; special friend Marina and a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially the Gallagher and Legrow families and her friends at Rickett’s Manor. Special thanks the Dr. Lee and to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Clare’s. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Friday, December 28 from 11 am - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from Caul’s Chapel. Donations in Florence’s Memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association.
