Passed away peacefully at the Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit, Florence Constance Squires, aged 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Squires, parents John and Alethea Oakley, and son-in-law John Blake. Left with precious memories her children Joanne Blake (Shiann Hynes, friend), Ward Squires (Tina), Joseph Squires, Glenn Squires (Marion), sister Francis Power, grandchildren Lauren Blake, Evan Blake, Glenn Squires (Nicole), Justin Squires, great-grandchildren Cameron Squires, Clara Squires and Callie Squires, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, on Sunday, December 23 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 24 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
